I shouldn't probably be asking, but how do I mark a certain tag as a character?
I'm uploading a new character, I've done this before in the past, though that was about a year ago. I'm probably dumb. Does it autocorrect to the character area or something??

Typing
char:[character_name]
will create a new character tag.

Don't forget to make sure the character name isn't already an artist tag. It should have _(artist) if that's the case, but it doesn't hurt to check.

If that's the case, use char:[character_name]_(character)

If there are multiple characters with the same name, you could find out who the character owner is and use char:[character_name]_(owner).

You mean char:[character_name]_([name_of_owner])
I don't think char:Jake_(owner) would go over well. :P
