Topic: Images tagged "typhlosion" should include "mustelid"

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Feel free to prune through typhlosion -mustelid and add the tag if you'd like. Pokemon/species implications don't work for reasons stated here: forum #168113

Though I can't say I ever saw a badger in that line... Source on it?

Typhlosion and his whole evolution tree are like, fire badgers. Right?

This is kind of the reason why Pokémon species are all individually input already as a species. To prevent people from confusion about super-species or if a particular Pokémon is a rodent, mustelid, or marsupial.

imo they dont really look like badgers at all

I can see some resemblance to honey badgers, but I dunno if there's anything that makes look specifically like mustelids. For example, I think they're just as close to some bear species. Such as Spectacled Bear.

Maybe it'd be best to simply tag them as Typhlosion, instead of trying to guess which animal they resemble most.

i always thought that they looked more like some sort of hybrids of dragon and porcupine

If it has another species like weasel, which implicates mustelid, then you won't be able to remove the latter without removing the former.
