Topic: Reclassify "eevolution" as "species"

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Right now it's down there with the generic tags and it's just... hard to spot, hard to pick out. Why? It ought be a species tag.

I'm assuming you're referring to eeveelution. I'd have to agree with your suggestion since it seems to me that eeveelution can be treated like biological ranks such as canine, which are all species tags as far as I know.

I see no problem with it being changed to a species tag.

Might as well. I'm still not sure why it even exists, but it does seem to fit better under species than general.

(Speaking of general tags that might fit better under species, there's the undead tag. Should probably be a species, since it's similar to the other species categories such as monster.)

Skeleton should probably be put under the "species" category as well, what with Papyrus and Sans from Undertale.

thats really bad idea because there are skeletons that are just.. normal non-living skeletons. changing that to species for sake of two undertale characters is dumb.

I actually looked up skeleton -undertale and found that most of the images appeared to be living skeletons anyway. Though not all.

The Mystery Skulls guy seemed to be featured a bit. Dry Bones and Dry Bowser... Point being, there are more than just those two. Just throwing that out there.

inanimate_skeleton might work for those that are just bones, freeing up skeleton for the species?

The eeveelution tag is a bit like the undead tag in that it refers to an entire group of creatures. I agree with both being made species tags.

The tag animated_skeleton is the species tag for skeleton creatures - I've actually done a small bit of tagging on this lately. The skeleton tag is for any time you can see a skeleton, including x-ray images or a skeleton hanging up on a display in a classroom.

Approved eeveelution from general -> species tag.

The skeleton one will be handled in forum #178760

Edit: Oh yeah, high post count. :( I'll have to handle this one tomorrow.

Edit 2: Alrighty, all changed now.

For the record, the tag is eeveelution.

You probably know, but you said the wrong thing so I figured I'd make sure.
