The panty_pull wiki article says that it doesn't matter what underwear is being used, but it implicates panties. Is this an oversight, or are we supposed to use pants_pull on non-panties pull even on bikini bottoms?

These tags have been a contant problem forever IMO. Despite a discussion on the subject pants_down and open_pants are still similarly implicating pants.

Could move the implication to underwear instead.
I'm less sure about pants_down/open_pants. The closest tag to that would be clothing (or perhaps clothed), which might work.

Didn't you yourself suggest bottomwear_down back then? Alias pants_down to that and have panties/underwear down implicated to it and 99% of those issues solve themselves.

Twice, apparently (which is odd because I don't remember doing that).
It's still probably a good idea as long as we don't get too technical with it (think sling_bikini).

±1. On the one hand, it covers all the cases. On the other hand, it just sounds weird. Maybe just alias panties_down to underwear_down and call it a day.

There is no problem with Panties_down (in fact until you you did, no one had even MENTIONED that tag!). There IS a problem with pants_down/open_pants implication because those implications cause problems with shorts, overalls, swim trunks and everything that is not actually pants.

Do you have a reason?

Yeah, but I'm still not comfortable with bottomwear_down for that. legwear_down at least sounds better for the external legwear. Thus we could have legwear_down for the equivalent of pants_down, and underwear_down for the equivalent of panties_down. That is, if a certain Kida doesn't have a good reason to not do so.

The problem is that legwear? We're currently using it for a different set of clothing (at least as I understand it).

Ease of searching. If I'm looking for female cat solo panties_down, I would have to use female cat solo underwear_down panties with your proposition and if I wanted to get more specific with my search, I can't. Because I'm only limited to five tags in a search.
Remember, getting specific with tagging, especially with actions, is never a bad thing. It helps me find what I'm looking for, and I don't have to sift through hundreds of artworks.

If you're looking for female cat solo panties_down in the first place, you either have a few tags that you could add to your blacklist (For example, if you always want to see a female, you could add -female, or if you refuse to even look at anything that isn't straight, you can type -rating:s -male/female -solo), or you have issues with the specificity of your searches.
And it's 6 tags. Believe me, I've checked. tanuki male solo penis masturbation cum
Regardless, you would achieve a similar effect by having just female cat solo underwear_down, as practically all females depicted on this site have panties. You'd have more of an argument if it was a male cat with its panties down.

Hm, a ` conundrum.

Wasn't talking about me specifically, and it was a random example; I'm talking about users who don't have a blacklist (not logged in), etc. Again, less specific tags aren't the answer to... anything, really. No point to eliminating a popular, in-use tag.

Not logged in users actually do have a blacklist, it's just prone to disappearing (deleting cookies) and needs to be added manually to each browser/computer you are on.
