Topic: Should we tag feral creatures with barefoot

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

i have seen some pics were people tag feral creatures that would never were normal shoes with the barefoot tag

it seems useless to me but unless they are near anthros or people with shoes on they technically are still barefoot but it seems pointless

I think using barefoot is only important if the feet are a focal point of the pic.

Utterly unnecessary on ferals, unless it's like a Yoshi or something where footwear is the norm.

I guess there's no harm in tagging them as barefoot, but it does seem a bit useless. Certainly not a high priority.

It's more useful to tag those (where applicable) with pawpads, foot_focus, etc.

i have seem it with feral Pokemon

and one pic where the trainer had shoes on (i removed this then)

i thought this but i was not sure if anyone else noticed

Assuming that the default assumption for ferals is that they're barefoot, I would think it would be the ferals who wore shoes who would be tagged rather than those who are barefoot. The exceptions would naturally be those who normally are depicted with footwear, as Jugofthat states.
