Yet another "is there a tag for this" thread. In this case characters drawn with limbs that end without distinguishable hands or feet. This is usually either in imitation of game sprite style (e.g. post #584455) or a feature of chibi style (e.g. post #536925). Sometimes it's part of the character's intrinsic design (e.g. wobbuffet's or kirby's arms).

As far as I know there is no tag for this. The closest I can think of is hooves, but that's still a feature. I've also seen them drawn like pointy sticks (the back-right character in post #580725 is the only one I know of off the top of my head) which would be really impractical in snow. :/

My only thoughts are:

Suggestion 1

• 0_fingers
• 0_toes

Benefits: Broad use, somewhat consistent with 5_fingers and related tags, albeit with different use.
Drawbacks: Really confusing and seems unintuitive, technically some fins could be thought of as this...sort of (I think) and hooves (except for hooved_fingers—yes, it's a thing) would be considered 1_finger...which is odd (heh) and impractical. There are probably other drawbacks that are on subject but I'm starting to ramble.

Suggestion 2:

• featureless_limbs
• featureless_arms
• featureless_legs

Benefits: Broad use, somewhat fits in with featureless_crotch/featureless_breasts, implications consistent with multi_limb tags.
Drawbacks: Probably similar to 0_fingers/toes, but is probably less confusing in practice.

No idea whether any set of tags will catch on, but I think suggestion 2 has less chance of confusion than suggestion 1 at least. I don't have any more ideas for potential names than that though.

I think no_fingers/toes would be a better tag than 0.

Those tags are completely unrelated and irrelevant.

I found a little-used and rather confusing no_hands tag which may make for a useful thing here (though I'm leaning toward featureless_* myself), since 0_finger implies a hand IMO.

Oh. Yeah I can't argue with that. Although it still doesn't change that horse hooves are technically a giant middle finger.

I still think featureless_* would be the best way to go for this though. Technically speaking (canon) mlp hooves are usually featureless, but I don't think most people would tag it for that anyways.
