Topic: "Sparks" is a character tag

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

The dragonfly from Spyro?
It should be spark_(spyro) or similar in that case.

EDIT: Scratch that. That's Sparx or something.

The most recent post features a character named sparks. Changed it and reverted plain sparks to general.

People will sometimes change tag types to their character's or artist name's benefit without much consideration for the older tags. I like to think most of that comes from being unfamiliar with the way the site works (like the same tag not being able to exist within two types at once, thus the frequent need for disambiguation).

Anyway, looks like that happened here.

New users sometimes also do this:

general:ambiguous_gender general:bubble general:digital_media_(artwork) general:looking_at_viewer species:marine species:marine_turtle copy:nintendo spec:pokémon artist:rainsoda species:reptile species:scalie general:smile general:solo genral:swimming species:turtle general:underwater general:video_games species:wartortle general:water general:wings

I'm really starting to think that we should lower the limit for changing tags for members. :X

Ideally members with no special range should be able to create tags, or edit tag type if there are less than, say, 10 posts.

It could be sparks the raichu or something.

If it's a character name, it should be tagged "character:sparks_(character)". Sparks are a visible "object" in many drawings.
