Haven't used e6 in a while and I'd rather not dig through the site changelogs to try to understand this change, so I'll just ask here...
It used to be that aliases and implications would not have a good chance of being accepted if they weren't cross-posted into a big thread that was maintained for the mods as a sort of ledger; it showed the status of the suggestions (denied / pending awaiting discussion / approved / etc) and had links to the relevant threads for in-depth discussion, along with a summary of the justification for adding the rule. Has the requirement to make that additional post for bookkeeping been rescinded because it's better automated now?
