Topic: Can ferals be loli?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Isn't loli for human-esque characters and cub for more traditional furries?

On the internet loli is kind of a mix between "actual" lolicon/lolita and a pseudo-CP tag, so it sometimes gets tagged with it. Anthro is questionable as some people think it should be reserved for humans, but I see nothing wrong with tagging those with it, particularly since we are a furry site.

But as to your question, the convention right now is to tag those with cub as it doesn't really fit either definition of "loli" very well (maybe some edge cases like post #231531).

There is probably room to change the definition to work better for us though. It would probably be better than having cub as a mix of SFW and NSFW posts.

I think it's okay to tag it as loli. It's furry site so loli can have a little different meaning than on the other sites.
Current loli wiki supports this way of tagging:

A Loli is an underaged female character. This phrase is used to refer to humans and cubs alike.

I don't think the wiki necessarily implies ferals. It's just a quick note that probably meant "human and anthro furry alike" rather than actively including the whole range of "cub",

female + cub

gets you a male cub and a large boobed female as well

loli and shota were aliased for a while anyway. I'm not confident that any gender-specific tags (loli = female + young) won't be purged in the future.
