Per the wiki, humanoid_penis is about anthro characters depicted with a human-style penis. Going by that, I've been doing it wrong, as I've been applying the tag whenever an image contains a penis of the humanoid type.

Should the tag be restricted to non-humans with a humanlike penis, or should it be extended to all images depicting that penis style?

I don't see why it shouldn't apply to human penises on human bodies. Tag away.

humanoid_penis is tagging the type of penis, regardless of what it is attached to. So yes, it applies regardless if it's an anthro, feral, human, dragon, horse, ferret, etc that it is attached to, so long as it's a humanoid style of penis.

The first one seems to be the standard. Compare *pussy to *vagina.

But there's so little variation in pussy types that I'm not sure if it's even worth tagging. For the most part, pussy -animal_genitalia gets the same results. Which might be why it's not tagged more often.

There was that one user who uploaded characters who had cunts that looked like roast beef, that's probably a "unique" kind of vagina.

I've been tagging humanoid_penis for that. It's fairly unmistakable most of the time (even when it's a stick figure) and occassionally you see humans with horsecock, so I don't see why it shouldn't apply the same way.

Pussy on the other hand...is pretty non-distinct unless the artist goes out of their way to make it detailed. Even then many animal pussies can fall within the range of what a human pussy looks like, even when they are well-drawn. At this point I'd lean towards "tag it when it's definitely not human pussy" since there is really far too much room for confusion on this one.

humanoid as a word means "a being resembling a human in its shape"

studious users might notice that 'humanoid' and 'anthropomorphic' have very similar meanings, most especially when applied to this subject matter

there are tags for canine and equine vaginas so i don't see why tags for human vaginas would not also exist

just because you don't see a use for the tag doesn't mean others wouldn't

You might be able to get close, but specific pussy types in general are fairly undertagged in general. The following might work to some degree:

feral -anatomically_correct_pussy

feral equine -equine_pussy

etc.

But it would only work to the degree that they are actually tagged, which considering there are ~60x more posts in pussy than anatomically_correct_pussy I'd say it probably wouldn't work very well at the moment.

I'm mixed on this one but you are probably right. It seems like the "humanoid" is a bit of a cop-out since the tag looks like it was originally meant for human penises on non-humans (since that is fairly common). There's also the technical issue with penises like the one in post #35504 which aren't exactly a "human penis", but are close enough to tag them with it. Using human_penis instead probably wouldn't be much an issue in practice though.

It's not that I don't see a use for it or are completely against the idea, I'm just thinking about the logistics of actually tagging them. We could certainly talk about working them in, but it's a bit difficult to make distinctions when natural variation and artistic style make them overlap so much.

most drawn vaginas are going to be obviously human for the sake of artistic expedience. an artist will take pains to show anatomical correctness that should make the distinction plain as day

I was talking about how feasible it is to blacklist "ferals with human pussy" based on how thoroughly things are tagged at the moment, not whether we should introduce a new tag for human pussy.

An example would be posts like
