Topic: Why Dont People Tag Feminine Posts??!?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

Okay,it's my first time posting here in the forums, so if I seem a bit noobish, please forgive me.
Anyways, I have a very extensive blacklist in place to keep myself from seeing straight/female art, and for the most part, it works great. The only thing I can't get to stop showing up in my post feed is femmy male art. Nobody EVER tags their art as feminine (which I'm guessing is an alias of tag:girly ). As much as I understand that some people just see feminine male/gay art as just art, I see it as one step away from a girl. How can I avoid seeing this stuff?

Tagging does not work perfectly and so you will still see some images get through a blacklist from the simple lack of a tag. You will just need to either grin and bear it or add the tag yourself so your blacklist works better. To expect this system to be entirely flawless is pretty silly given that tagging is community-driven.

I went ahead and added a few tags to your blacklist. They are prepended with a # just so you can take a look at it before applying them.

I also removed a few redundant ones (male/female implies female, so blacklisting female would blacklist both anyways).

I suppose you're right...

Oh thank you! I presume those tags you added have aliases that will be blacklisted along with it?

Eeyup.

Making sure genitals end up in their proper places is a never-ending struggle.

Edit: I added a few more smaller tags for you.

This is something I definitely forget to tag often.

I'll add it to the list of things I check before uploading.
