Topic: Anybody interested in uncensoring images?

About wiki page of uncensor_request. I'm not sure if I'm right, but shouldn't pics censored by pixelation or censor bars be also flagged for deletion besides parenting it. I think it counts as an inferior version.

I think some artists who did the original censored versions would disagree with your assessment...

I think the original should be kept because the uncensor is an edit, but if the original artist uncensored it, I think it should be deleted.

Purposely editing someone else's content, and distributing it without their permission sounds like something that shouldn't be taken too lightly

In turn, creating a tag to do just that seems a bit unethical

Plenty of this already happens on e621 anyway. If an artist disagrees with an edit, they do have rights to take it down along with an easy to use takedown tool.

What you say may not be incorrect, but if we all pussy-footed around all the time, nothing on the Internet would ever get done. Proactive/submissive courtesy, like anything else in life, should be taken in moderation.
