I have tried both the site's IRC as well as my AndChat app, and neither are letting me on. My AndChat app works fine as I can get on to other mIRC channels, so I'm 99% sure it's not on my end. I know I'm not banned, and I know that neither e621 nor the IRC are scheduled for maintenance at the moment. What's going on?

The channel now requires you to be registered (to the network).

I'm in the IRC channel as we speak. Can you join other FurNet channels?

Well I can.
#e621 is currently set to ntrRS. unrealirc defines R as allowing registered nicks only.

It requires people to register to join the channel because we got sick of mibbiters shitting it up.

The registration requirement gets turned on and off as needed.

Usually see it get turned on when there's an up-flux of bots, then turned off after a while once things have had a chance to calm down.
