cant set the posts so that the oldest post is the first one to show

order:set_asc
doesn't sort by age, it sorts by when the post was added to the set. Is that what you meant?

Use set:1234 order:id instead if you want the oldest to be first.

thanks, i guess i still dont understand many of the search modifiers yet, order:id worked.
