i havent had any problems with removing my posts? just file a takedown request (assuming that you were the artist of the post) and follow the instructions and the posts you want gone will be gone in like 12 hours. also comments cannot be deleted but nothing stops you from hiding your comments. when the comment is hidden, they wont be visible for other users (except for admins i think)

What you have to understand is that e621 is not a personal gallery for any of its artists. It's more akin to a museum or a library.

If you wrote a book and it's been included in a library, you can't just go there and take all the copies of your own book away. You have to contact the library and convince them to remove it from their shelves.

And do you consider this as an option? Because to me, don't upload something that if you're going to wanna take it down later. - If you have to use the take down system, and it hurts your account, well that's the punishment you'll have to take. Buddy.

That isn't something I have control over. People may or may not want something removed eventually, it's entirely up to them as long as they are the artist (or commissioner, character owner) of the work posted. I've used Takedowns for old and/or unwanted work, because I wanted to keep my work current and up to par with my skill. Many others do the same.
