Problematic because the mythological salamander are usually drawn as scalies instead of amphibians. Such as in post #297705 and post #437705.

Ugh, I forgot the mythological salamander was even a thing. How infuriating. Could those be moved to a dedicated, not-a-RL-species kind of tag, or is that endeavor not worth the effort?

Retagging those manually would probably be the best solution. Fire salamanders don't seem to be drawn often enough to warrant disambiguating the salamander tag. ...or at least they're not tagged as such often.
By the way, the Charmander evolution line is based on Japanese tale of fire salamander who grew wings.
