So, one of the things I enjoy the most are posts depicting nice back and shoulder muscles. There are no specific tags for this—though there are tags for pecs, abs, etc—and I can't search for it. There are the front_view and rear_view tags, but those aren't specific, and the latter seems to be used mostly when presenting_hindquarters is more accurate. back_muscles could function like the "muscular" tag—only to be used when the muscles are a major feature or focus of the pic, and not just when showing any back muscles at all. For instance:

Yeah it makes sense. But I'm sure others will tag it even if there is only a small amount of back muscles are visible so it might not work out like you planned. But, I see what you want to do.

Only thing that comes up with a search for musc*back*

Typing in muscular rear_view gives me about 1,300 pages with similar results, give or take a few inconsistencies.

Also, the tag "back" has been invalidated recently because it's a bit too generalized for e621.

Would a tag like "broad_shoulders" work in this scenario? And if so, what would be the general consensus in gauging it? Should it be tagged on characters with builds akin to Brock Lesnar?

I don't quite understand what you are trying to ask there, but muscular_back is definitely better for this purpose than back_muscles :/ Are you suggesting a tag alias and implication?

Yeah, "back" is a little too generalized, unfortunately. If only I could wave a magic wand and apply it to every post perfectly in the way I want :V I don't know about broad shoulders, but it might be difficult to apply. Lesnar certainly fits under that category though.

I would take the suggestion of GameManiac and use muscular rear_view -back_muscles.

Perhaps also look at some muscle Wiki's and see if you can create one for back_muscles and make the other muscle Wiki's link to it and vice versa.

You can always ask other users/certain admins for help. DMailing works too.

What the heck are you talking about? This has nothing to do with backseat moderation. This is a suggestion on what to do next, and I'm open for correction.

Besides, I know that admins don't always have the time. What I'm referring to however are forums that aren't visited by anybody at all. Member nor admin.

If we all choose a few main tasks to fulfill, we have an organized working crew.
I dedicate most of my tagging efforts to resolutions and backgrounds for example, while other users take care of invalid tags, low tagcounts, etc.

Most of my efforts are going to be focused on musculature. There's an awful lot of mistagging where that's concerned. I've also noticed that there are a lot of "smaller" artists who mostly do nice solos and pinups and don't get a lot of tagging attention.
