I'd first heard rumours about artists being ashamed of creating art for the person under this pseudonym when I suddenly could no longer find artists on this site (specifically Eltonpot), due to takedown requests. Can someone shed some light on the subject? I've tried to do a bit of searching but came up blank.

well, that's certainly unlikely to happen.

edit: nothing on wikifur and the account links there are either disabled, nonexistent, or empty from what i can tell. did find this forum thread though. the encyclopediadramatica link is dead and...

*WARNING* do NOT click the 2nd and 3rd links in that thread. i had to close them immediately after i saw what was loading as it was malware (false virus alert page and a false java update alert) so don't touch those. had i an account on that site i'd report that user for using such links.

assuming sinister taz (another name he has gone by) is also the name of a character he uses, it looks like theres 6 of his pics here at e6.

and that is about all i could dig up.

When you say different, do you mean "absolutely different in every fundamental way, so different I don't even know why I brought it up?" Because that's the only way your statement would be accurate.

Trans people are born the way they are. They don't "become" trans through any kind of mental conditioning. We know this because we've tried and failed spectacularly. Look up the name "David Reimer."

mentally a trans person is the opposite gender of who they are physically. the sex change operations can be considered a coping method for this where they change their bodies physical form so that it more accurately represents what they are mentally. not saying thats a bad thing but...theres not any better alternative to that yet, is there?

in the case of that anime, Upotte (ty, furrin gok, for reminding me of the title there), the trading card game, and the dating simulator, the girls in these cases are physically human yet mentally they're guns, battleships and tanks.

that seems fairly similar to me minus the latter case altering their physical form to suit the mental side of things.

why are you bringing up mental conditioning? was there some indication of that having happened in the games and anime mentioned that i missed? there are some similarities between the 2, as i just pointed out, and i doubt mental conditioning has anything to do with it.

and that similarity is this: both cases are physically one thing yet mentally another.

the difference is that: one case relies on surgery and other means to alter their physical form so that it more accurately portrays who or what they are mentally and the other case doesn't.

What always amuses me, is the fact that whenever anyone calls anything "fucking weird", I remember the observation that literally anything not considered common and accepted to the point of social normalcy, can be considered weird to varying extremes, to different people and groups.

I could list a number of examples, comparisons between the past where something was considered socially unacceptable, that is very much normal or even expected today. Unfortunately not all of them are pleasant and I'm in too jaded of a mood right now to fully open that can of worms.
