Reason:

There is a video game called Destiny and Destiny Blackmoon's character named Destiny. The game's tag has a "_(video_game)" suffix, however people have tagged content related to the game as simply "destiny" without the suffix, which has been used for Blackmoon's character since before the game was ever released. Destiny would show up in the character section, but since people were thinking of the game they would change the tag to "copyright:destiny" with no suffix, thus mistakenly changing all images of Blackmoon's character to a copyright as well. With the alias, mistakes could be more easily rectified by changing "_(character)" to "_(video_game)".

If this is too pedantic please let me know, but I feel this would separate them a bit more clearly.

Perhaps a disambiguation? I think that'd be easier to sort out than tracking down the mistakes when people meant to tag destiny_(video_game).

Let X and Y be tags.

Implication: If X is implicated to Y, then if X is added as a tag, Y is also added as a tag. E.g. tapering_penis implies penis since you can't have a tapering_penis without a penis in the first place. Both get added

Alias: If X is aliased to Y, then X is renamed to Y. In other words, if you add X as a tag, only Y will be added. E.g. bj is aliased to fellatio, since that's the standard name that got chosen. Only fellatio gets added

Disambiguation: X is disambiguated if X has common multiple meanings. A disambiguation is just an alias of "X" to "X_(disambiguation)". E.g. game is disambiguated (game_(disambiguation)), since just the tag game could refer to many things

I assume the disambiguation would involve tags from the same "tag family"(artist, copyright, character, general), but what about in Destiny's case, where it refers to both a character and a copyright?

I see no reason why it couldn't apply to multiple tag families. It's just a placeholder after all. Names that are also things (like pearl_(disambiguation)) is an example of this already in use.

Disambiguations have nothing to do with the "tag family," but rather the same word. Anything that could be called "Destiny" will be tagged with it, and the disambiguation would make mention of the known ones.

The character should get destiny_blackmoon_(character) (or _(fursona) depending on how she uses it) as its tag, not just straight up destiny_(character) in case other artists make a Destiny character.
