I cannot figure out how to use the 'date' search term. The only clue as to how to use it is 'date:month..year'...
So naturally i type 'date:12.2015' and i do not get any results. Not even sure what i'm doing wrong.
I've tried several variations as well but they don't work. :/
Help would be appreciated.

I'm fairly sure the format is year-month-day and separated by hyphens (-)
Either way, date:2015-12 doesn't appear to work either. date:2015-12-1 works however, so maybe searching by months just isn't a feature.
date:2015-12-1..2015-12-31 will give you what you're looking for.
