Topic: What is your favorite species here on e621?

Posted under Off Topic

I just wanted to know what type of anthro people liked here. I've always been curious to see what others find to be attractive or just interesting in the art posted here. I enjoy the male rat pictures. I prefer the ones where they're muscular because it kind of has irony, or a small creature becoming a strong large anthro.

Squirrels and rats and mice, in that order. I absolutely love rodents.

My avatar says sergals, but I like everything equally. It matters more if it's adequately drawn and depicted or not.

In a humanoid form or in the actual shape of one?

As mainstream as it is: foxes, hands down. They make great species for the girly and crossdressing tags.
Outside of r34 I like them too for characteristic reasons (such as solitude and being sly and treacherous). My room is full of fox stuff as well.

Sharks. They have cute snouts and they mostly have a water theme which I like~

Giraffes, followed closely by Griffins. I love newts but there are not that many good images of them on e6(or anywhere really.)

Horses, particularly zebras and shires.

I am unoriginal.

Qmann. You and I are the same. I love cute bunny guys. Have your seen Seffy? He officially has the greatest was on e621.

Do you like the big muscular kind? Like the doms?

Do you know Riptideshark? He's amazing for sharks that aren't over the top and nusclebound.

You realize you can type in your response, then hit respond to another post, and chain them together like that, and wait until you're done with all of them before hitting the Post button, right? That way you don't get three posts in a row.

Bovines. Sorry horses, I love you to death too....ooh and scalies/dragons...not to mention soft canines and seductive felines...then all those neat niche species like rhinos, giraffes, dolphins, tapirs, hippos,...

Hyenas, and also Ratte's poofs because they are cute.

Fennec foxes and gray foxes. I know it's cliché, but foxes are actually pretty neat.

Did you know gray foxes are the only canids that climb trees?
Unfortunately they aren't around my place much anymore because the invasive red foxes outcompete them and sometimes kill them. I've actually never seen a gray fox in person. They're even more reclusive than red foxes.

Anyway, I find it weird that gray foxes are so uncommon here.

I like both but personally I do like cuter ones like Ashley and Freckles, and I also like big muscular subs too. XD

Hell yeah, he's pretty much the most popular anthro shark here.

Sorry, I've only recently gotten into interacting with others here.

Yeah, I enjoy some of the large muscular type of horses. The kind that could punch through a wall without a second thought. I also like bulls.

That is a tad strange. Weird.

I absolutely love big Dom stallions. Not the gross bulgy kind, the well shaped ones like James.

Depends on the mood you're in for a lot of people and a lot of other things. I usually don't like guys who are "too big", but I like Cayenne. I also much prefer guys who are versatile than one who just goes one way, sub or dom, but that's just me. Plus I love horse butts, woohoo!

Same. They have almost donut holes between their cheeks.

Hey, does anyone know how to use a copy the link to a tag and still have the tags words?

For a post search, {{tag_1}} or {{tag_1 tag_2}} etc. For wiki pages of a tag, [[tag 1]], with or without underscore. No multi-tags in wiki links. You can throw |Name onto either of those, for example {{~dragon ~avian female|My Favorites}} becomes My Favorites. The vertical line, or the "Pipe," is attained by holding shift and hitting backslash.

While I prefer feral equines to anthro, out of all anthros I prefer male sub horses. But really, feral miniature horses is where my heart lies.

hmmm...favorite species...that's a bit tricky to answer since one can't simply say something like "pokemon" as that would be FAR too vague.

hum...i don't know. i'm not overly picky so long as it's not nightmare_fuel.

going by what's in my favorites here, i guess the main ones would be goat, dragon, pony, changeling (not 100% though as the insectoid aspect always weirds me out somewhat. to quote Luna from a fanfic i once read: "I like science, but i don't like science THAT much." regarding changeling anatomy. but i guess i could learn to look past that so long as it's not TOO strange or freaky.), lombax (think, Ratcher & Clank), moomba (FFVIII), and a fair number of pokemon species (and the various evolution forms of said species). oh and koopas, can't forget them. :)

Well i don't really like anthro art, i like feral dragons the most, and everything what is feral on feral or feral solo.

Gee, does no one like felines? Nvm, see a couple people mentioned them. I like equines most, followed by felines; especially rare types and species such as black panthers, clouded leopards, and caracals. Canids are cute too. But yeah, horses are fab. I just hate how often they are portrayed as totally muscle-bound with massive junk. It gets really old.

A bit offT, but this, I really like it when horses do not have a third leg. I like diversity, but in the world of horse "huge_penis" and above seems to be standard.

I can see that. I don't like the huge disproportionate ones. I like the kind with a hide chest and a six pack, not the gross balloon muscle ones. And penis size, I would put a limit on what I find realistically attractive at 16 inches. But yeah. I agree with that.

I'm more partial to the things that could potentially rip me apart if I piss them off...
Hey, someone's gotta show love the forgotten ones.

Updated by anonymous

foxes since the fox and the hound, also bunnys and otters. Really I'd probably be a big furry sleaze but those would be tippy top of my list, also it might be worth saying there are a lot of ponies in my favorites.

Same... I can see the appeal of a huge dick but it gets really old, especially the "Huge aggressive top, tiny subby bottom," thing that's everywhere. That's probably why I got into "cutsey" tops since it's the exact opposite, but it's also good to see every aide of the spectrum.

For me personally, it's mouse/rat girls and caprine girls tied for my favorite, with otters (male and female) close by. This is especially with tsundere mouse girls that still have a little bit of that mousy meekness to them, such as Amily from CoC.
