Implicating ear_piercing → jewelry

Reason:

I've always thought of earrings, piercings, etc. as jewelry. Given that this would apply to almost 30000 posts though, I figure it first warrants some conversation. Someone will probably think of something I didn't

Technically? Yes

For tagging purposes? Not sure, on one hand I consider them jewelry but on the other what would be the real benefit of doing this? Although if yes, then I'd probably go even further, i.e. implicating piercing -> jewelry which would apply to about 52000 of 60000 piercing posts, almost dwarfing the current 28000 jewelry posts (of which 8000 already, at least, depict piercings).

Maybe. But I have to disagree. While piercings contain jewellery when someone searches for just jewellery theyre probably looking for adornments like rings or necklaces or etc. Not piercings. After all if they were looking for piercings they'd search piercings.

I made a post about that yesterday: forum #203350. In light of this thread, though, I'm not so sure about it

If not implicate, should we then edit the wikis to tell people not to tag piercings with jewelry? Could be slightly hard to enforce, but it's maybe not an issue worth bothering with.

Also what about the, not so common on furries, larger and more "jewelry" like ear rings and similar, not jewelry either? What about nipple_chain?

When I think "Earrings," I think "Jewelery." I'm up for implying it. I mean, what's not jewelery about earrings?

An ear tag, such as what is used on wild or domesticated animals to identify them, would qualify as an ear piercing, but would not qualify as jewelry.
