To be fair, there is a pretty big stigma attached to producing furry art, especially if it happens to be of the pornographic variety, outside the furry community. Distancing himself(?) from it may very well have been the best course of action if he wanted his art to be taken seriously outside a niche group.

thought that name sounded familiar. there still a few pics with one of his characters here, least i think its his. the wiki here says no page exists for the tag.

if he did quit than does that mean his name should be taken off the DNP list since he's not making art anymore? at least since he's only doing real/normal art which is more likely to be denied by site staff

No it shouldn't, because he has requested his art not to be posted. Just because he takes down his public profile doesn't mean his art is free rein to post.

what I was implying was his profile is gone, and so might all his site relevant art, hence why I brought up the idea...

He asked to be put on the DNP list BECAUSE he wanted to remove his art from the internet. :P It happened at the same time that he cleaned out his FA gallery.

So from what I heard around the playgrounds that is called the furry fandom, supposedly StriderOrion had some stalker issues. Basically it was related to commissions and supposedly this one guy was pissed off because he didn't get a commission from Strider or something of that effect. So basically the stalking got worse and worse until striderorion no longer wanted to deal with it anymore because of how severe it got.

However I will say that maybe that story about him wanting to pursue a proper art career could also be legitimate, too. But ya know what? I guess he didn;t want anything to do with the furry fandom or probably wanted to distance himself from it probably because of a lot of risks there are being within this fandom.

Until Today i have no idea what really happend to him, its a really really sad thing, he was a great artist and a great inspiration to many, i just hope he back someday.

He left the Fandom for his Career.

He got a real job, and so purged his old art so it wouldn't sabotage his career.
