Topic: e621 fav sync utility [1.6]

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

Hello e621 users!

Let me introduce you to a utility for sync favorites list and the local folder.
It free, simply and fast.
How it work:
Get fav list for selected username via api and download to folder via wget (Gnu GPL)

Screenshot

You also can use additional variables for path: %scrore%, %username%, %date%; limit download rate; select safe rating; pause process

installer (win) (481 KB)

Mega

FileDropper

Virustotal: 0/48

Please report bugs, errors and suggestions here, or e-mail: cuberope (at) ya.ru

v1.4

Added dynamic variable %rating% for safety rating
now you can just press "download" and it sort images to folders automatically
Added "Save file as post id" option
Fixed download rate limiter

v1.5

Api Fix
Some small fixes

v1.6

Replaced old gnuwin32 wget to Bart Puype's compilation which does not require any libs
Collected some garbage, size of the installer is now only 481 KB
Fixed limiting (150)
Replaced "no timestamps" not working function

Hey I made something similar... except is full of bugs (or I shouldn't test it with bugs)
Oh well, great minds think alike! n_n

E: Just remember, there's a hard-limit of 100 posts per search
E2: Can't download, site says "Decryption error" :/

Eh, can u send screenshot to me? And OS version please.

As far as I know, api has a 320 post per search limit.

I meant, can't download from the site you uploaded (I can't even use the app u_u)

And the limit is from e621's API (unless Aurali or tony changed it and the documentation isn't updated)

It does work. btw you forgot to mention that it needs .NET v4. Oh well, I'm on an old pc, so probably it didn't had it. I guess newer pc's have it already, right?

I have a small suggestion: instead of saving them with the MD5 as filename can you add an option to save the filenames with the post id? You know, to keep them organized

If you like I can give you a snippet that pads strings with any character to any lenght

Updated to 1.4

My AV says Virus/Win32.Xpaj.gen and I'm not sure whether this is a false positive or not.

EDIT: The virustotal link has a different SHA256 hash to the file available for download.

Are you checking installer?
I use NSIS (Nullsoft Scriptable Install System) to pack all files to one executable, maybe your AV detect the data compression as virus

How about providing the source code?
I'd really like to take a look at it.

Im sorry, but no
If you suspect something, you can get wireshark and ollydbg and watch what this tool do, i think you will not see anything bad

So, can we have a working link to the 1.5 (latest?) version? None of the above seem to work, and the 1.3 version I have downloads strange 0 byte files instead of pictures.

I could make a Linux-version of this, but since I have no idea how to create GUI tools for Ubuntu, it'd be CLI-based...

Yay, side project :3
