Boto look exactly the same as other dolphins. I'd say alias instead.

it looks like a hybrid between bottlenose and boto. bottlenose because the snout and boto because botos are often ridicuously pink

no? for example the decision if a thing should be tagged as polar bear, panda or any other bear species is made purely based on the coloration

Boto most commonly means a specific type of RIVER dolphin... it's an informal group of dolphins... not all of them are pink, check out river dolphin on the wikipedia and you'll see there's a series of morphological adaptations specific to this group
Also sometimes my fursona (who is a boto) appears more like a common dolphin but that's entirely depending on the artist's style when drawing her snout/beak

Also, we should think about the animal itself and not myself just because I'm the only boto tagged. For example a lot of wolves here are fucking green but wolves normally aren't green...
