Because it can be tagged for either diphallism or hemipenis.

Rather have to clean it out than not have it tagged at all. It's easier to find misstagged diphallism or hemipenes than to find untagged multipenis

-1 to the proposed alias. 3_penises sounds like it could apply to any post that shows three penises, even if those three penises don't belong to the same character.

The reverse (3_penises -> triple_penis) could work.

seem pretty clear that people would get what it would mean. The multiple_* tags are what cover the propose you mention.

Again consistency, people will understand the meaning because we use the same tag structure for all other tags that denote the amount of a specific bodypart on a individual body.

I'm probably going to reverse this because when I saw it in the list, the first thing I thought was, why are we tagging three dudes' penises in the picture? Then I came here and realized you meant it for one person.

Previous examples aside, triple penis makes me think a person has three penises, whereas three penises makes me think there are three penises around the image

like i said before we have at least 20 different tags to prove that such will not happen. are we to change all those tags i listed in the previous post above yours?, if not why when you seem to have a problem with the tag as a number here?

that has not been established thru out all tags and tag groups on the site thru, not that say a single system form wouldnt get my support. i did say in a earlier thread that that was for all multi_* tags but that is not the case with tags that specify the specific number of that multi_* where the opposite, plural is the norm. Again this is a alias made for consistency to bring this into a system that users of e621 already know. The other option would be to disconnect a good dozen aliases and implications, create over 30 new tags and then alias the present norm to the new tags plus the dozen other tags that were disconected earlyer.
