While e6 is based in U.S., UK users not using a VPN or Tor may become unable to access the site eventually. There are already many websites blocked for UK users, such as popular filesharing sites:

He was found not guilty after the cprosecution decided it wasnt an animal. But not before he had a heart attack and was targeted by vigilantes and accused of being a paedophile.

Charges dropped does not mean "found not guilty". It means the case was dropped before there could be a verdict.

Now how does the prosecution charge the guy in the first place, and take months to figure out there was no animal involved? Incompetence, laziness, maliciousness, or case backlog.

Yes, you are right, he will still have this hanging over him and it is a chilling effect for anyone wishing to use the internet as a means other than using an online bank or paying their bills.
