Implicating koopa → turtle

Reason:

Koopas are slightly anthropomorphic turtles, and there isn't a design style to my knowledge that could prevent such. A human version of a Koopa character wouldn't be a turtle, but since it would be a human, it couldn't be a Koopa either.. I already know someone's gonna try and use Bowser as a counterargument, but Bowser is still a Koopa. He isn't a dragon, unless something breathing fire is automatically a dragon...And if you all forgot, turtles have tails, some have very long tails in fact, like alligator snapping turtles, which also have strong, sharp jaws and spiky shells.....

aside from bowser, the koopalings, and similar characters, sure. but bowser and his kids have horns and don't have beaks so they're not exactly turtles.

Not to mention they resemble tortoises more than turtles. I'm generally against aliasing/implicating fictional species to real ones unless you can argue that the fictional one is the real one with a different name (eg. hume -> human).

Koopas resemble turtles but they are technically not turtles.

A better question is why is that tagged koopa when that doesn't look like a koopa? It looks like an anthro tiger, sans fur but we know that is optional. Even with a shell that is not enough to define a koopa.

Looks like a hybrid to me. Hybrids often don't have much resemblance to their component species.

I think it's a good implication.

See, this is where "tag what you see" gets confusing. If you know that's Bowser partially shapeshifted into a tiger, then you're going to see Meowser. If you have no idea what that is, you're going to think it's someone's OC cosplaying as a koopa.

But I do think the Bowser-style shell alone is enough to tag as koopa.
