Requested feature overview description.
When a post is deleted, the post is hidden from view and unsearchable without using the 'status:deleted' metadata tag or an external service, such as harry.lu. While the tags and sources are preserved on these deleted uploads, the metadata about the dimensions and file size are not.
I suggest preserving that field on post deletion. This could be as simple as leaving a static string with that information in place of the clickable hyperlink on active posts.
Why would it be useful?
The source of an image and the actual upload may not match, the source could have been deleted, or the source could be locked behind some form of login. Displaying the dimensions of the deleted image on a hidden post would skip the middleman and allow a) easier comparison between hidden and active posts, and b) a clearer way to show people who ask why a post was, well, reposted.
Moreover, since many browsers do not easily allow one to see file size of an image without jumping through hoops in the UI or downloading it locally, it would reduce data consumption on capped connections and help mitigate unnecessary exposure to corrupt and/or infected files.
What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Strictly deleted posts.
