Not needed, this has been only used twice.

I accidently tagged hidden_sex and secret_sex before I knew about stealth_sex and fixed them. There is the potential for others to make the same mistake.

Doesn't matter, the minimum is dozen uses within the past year.
It's hard enough to keep up with the aliases and implications even if we focus on tags that are actually in use. Please don't clog up the queue further with unnecessary ones.

Is it possible to find the number of times a particular tag is used even if it's added by mistake and replaced by the correct tag? The reason so few posts have those tag is because they're always corrected manually.
Also, how am I suppose to tell if a suggestion would be unnecessary? I honestly think this would be a good alias to prevent mistakes like the ones I made earlier with this tag.

Yes, although it takes some work.
Select Show Search Options from Post tag history, and search for it from there. Add spaces around the tag for exact string search.
...and hope that the database doesn't time out. If it does, try again.
Here's a link to the hidden_sex search. Once you get the results, the easiest way to count the usage is by searching for '+<tagname>. Five uses of hidden_sex, two of secret_sex. This alias will likely get approved anyway though, because it's already in the queue and will have to be handled either way.

[/quote] Thanks, that may prove helpful in future. Is the suggestion queue really clogged up? How am I supposed to tell if a suggestion would be good or not? Isn't that part of the point of making a suggestion, to engage in discussion of its usefulness?

The number of times it has been tagged and the likelihood of it being tagged again seem to be contributing factors.

Yep. 655 pending aliases, 494 implications.
How am I supposed to tell if a suggestion would be good or not?
Hard to say if it's good without discussion, but suggestions for barely used tags count among the 'bad by default'. At least for now; we might rethink that stance if the queue starts clearing up someday.

Why is that even a tag?
