We don't need the scaling problem that affects the breasts, balls and penis tags affecting the penetration tags as well. -1

We keep things consistent. There's a problem with not having it, too. +1.

-1.

Large is supposed to be tagged for realistically large, and anything larger than that for exaggerated sizes. If someone's trying to search for realistically large, they don't want to see massive stomach bulges and all-way-through penetrations.

In other words, the same thing I said about the breasts tags... And was roundly dismissed.

That's what large_penetration -huge_penetration is for.

We shouldn't second-guess that the users are trying to find. If someone searches for large_penetration, it shouldn't be assumed that they're actually searching for 'larger_than_medium_penetration'. Users who search for realistic sizes rarely want to see hyper mixed in.

Not to mention that we're going to streamline that tag group anyway, by removing at least one tier. There's currently too many of them (normal, large, huge, extreme); especially if you consider ridiculous_fit to be an extension of extreme_penetration. So that's an another reason not to implicate them: getting them all mingled up will make it harder to reorganize.

One of the major issues with these 'nested' categories, is that there's usually not an umbrella tag for all of them

tl:dr - chain implicate the different comparison tags to another, catcall tag, rather than each other.
Then use that catchall tag to find all relevant large/small etc tags where applicable

------

At least one known 'exception' is breasts

but that includes small, and medium as well

--
maybe what we need here is another catchall for sizes/comparators

so someone can search {{penetration [catchall_tag]}}

and find the equivalent of the nested implications:

so the size tags would be chain implicated to that, rather than each other:

catchall_tag implies-> [all the different comparator tags]
[all the different comparator tags] implies-> catchall_tag

Like I mentioned in this thread, implicating tags in this fashion makes particular searches impossible. For example:

How would you find the first one without also finding the second one? How would you block the second one without also blocking the first one?

We are the only booru site with this problem, by the way.
