Topic: [Bug] Table metatag prevents table wiki link syntax from working correctly.

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Bug overview description.
Attempting to create a link to the table wiki page using the standard syntax of [\

] creates a table instead of a link.
What part(s) of the site page(s) are affected?
Anywhere that allows DText, so pretty much everywhere.
What is the expected behavior?
A table wiki link should appear.
What actual behavior is given instead?
A ltable table shows up instead
and consumes everything below it.
Time of incident (if applicable).
n/a
Can you reproduce the bug every time?
Yes
What steps did you take to replicate this bug?
Type [\[ltable]] anywhere that allows DText.
Errors or other messages returned (if any).
None.
Notes:
  • I deliberately placed the \[/ltable] metatag near the end to demonstrate the issue and limit what was consumed. It's still readable but an unwanted effect nonetheless.
  • You can use "table":/wiki/show/table as a workaround.
  • A possible solution is to change the \
metatag to simply \[t].

Nop idea what u just said... so um,
Support?

basically the issue is that you cannot link to the wiki page of the table tag by using [[*tag goes here*]] method (which is the simplest way to link to tag wiki pages). instead of getting link, it does that box thingy (its called as table) shown above.

apparently the table also seems to ignore putting it in this thingy and breaks it too. like i originally tried to write table instead of that *tag goes here* above but it broke.
