2 does not seem like a typo but rather a reference to the split jaws(gaping mouth) or even more specifically the grove that bisects the upper lip and "nose leather", L is also a letter that is rarely typoed in a place where it changes the meaning, typos only appear in terms that commonly have paired L's.

split should probably be disambiguated as i can see it often be used for gymnastic and skating based splits, incomplete splits, split screen/split composition images as well as images depicting characters with a split personality or form(s).
