Topic: Tag Alias: asriel -> asriel_dreemurr

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

+1. Since (apparently) there is no other character named Asriel, as well none copyright or artist, this alias would make searching and tagging more practical, without additional issues.

Could be a misspell of Azrael (The Angel of Death Asriel is based on), or the cat from The Smurfs

Good point. The S and Z keys are adjacent so typos are possible.

I) "Azrael" and "Asriel" have not one, but two different letter, also "A" and "I" are quite distant of each other at the keyboard, making this typo a improbability.

II) if this things like that really were a problem, then we should start using "H2O" instead of "water" since it may be misspelled as "Walter", "later" or "rater".

I didn't say typo. I said "misspell". People might not know how to spell it, see it spelled one way, and assume it's the same. He is, after all, based on the angel. It would make sense that someone would falsely assume the names are spelled the same.

Nice usage of slippery slope logic. Except not really.

So that would happen even without this alias. If someone believe the character's name is written "Azrael", that person might end up tagging it wrong anyway.

Actually, I need to agree. It might have been better if I didn't have mixed up the two terms, sometimes I'm not that good on thinking fast.

I need to apologize actually. I assumed you were doing so intentionally, and I'm sorry for that. I had no right to lash out at you.

O16 probably said typo because I did.

Not in really; I started writing and when ended up, you already had wrote your comment (apparently you write faster than me).

It is OK, situations such this one are actually pretty common.

Explanation:

I was born with problems to express feelings and a considerable lack of empathy; due to this, I easily apparent to be rude, cold, cruel, sarcastic or disrespectful even when this isn't my intention. Probably when you are happy, you smile, change your voice tone and vocabulary, not me; when i'm happy, angry, sad etc I look almost the same and act almost in the same way; I also tend to cause misunderstoods when attempt to externalize my emotions, so I try to be careful when doing so.
