Topic: how to exclude stuff from my searches

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

I got a question. How do I exclude certain stuff by default from all my searches and when I look at new posts? I'm specifically looking to exclude scat and watersports.

How do I do that by default?

Edit: I am aware that I can do this in the search bar by writing -(something), but I'd rather not have to do that.

Thank you. I never could find my blacklist. Problem solved. :)

It's under My Account -> Settings.

Since your post was a bit ambiguous and seeing that it wasn't mentioned here...

If there is something specific that you don't want to show up in a particular search, for example, "dragon female duo" and you want two or more females but no males, just add "-male" to your search terms.

For the record, when using the blacklist, you have to be careful to separate tag groups.
Kira said one tag per line is usually what you want, but sometimes not:
gore
rating:e cub
The first one is a tag all on its own, but the second one is two tags. Any image that has both of those gets blacklisted, but not for having only one or the other. Despite this limitation to the second line, anything which only has one of the tags from it, but also has the only tag in the first line, will still get blacklisted.
Any image with all three will be blacklisted "Twice," meaning if you go to show blacklisted items, you'll have to either click "Toggle Blacklist," or both blacklist options together.
