That's not the name of the show though...the shows is just "The Legend of Korra"...you shouldn't change the name of a show just to "standardize" it with another tag.

Realistically...we're dealing with two shows. I seriously doubt the avatar series is going to continue...it was hard enough for them to get out LoK (lots of trouble with Nick not promoting it properly, time slot switches, etc). I don't really see a need for an overarching "avatar_(series)" tag for just two shows.

Korra takes place in the same universe as the first show...so I would just do this and be done with it:

the_legend_of_korra -> avatar:_the_last_airbender

Characters who appear in both series can still be easily narrowed down to either one or the other...I mean the series are set 70 years apart so just look at their ages. If it's old Toph then she's from Legend of Korra, if it's young Toph then she's from Last Airbender. Not rocket science.

I am not creating a completely new name from nowhere; that one is another name for the series, actually, it currently is aliased to "the_legend_of_korra" due this reason.

This one is ammong the main reasons that motived me to wait some time (three months) before suggesting. I was waiting for some new opnions, but nobody (besides BlueDingo) replied so...

Invalid for Iroh (same appearance, since he passed away at an age close to his last appearance in Avatar: the last airbender and showed up as a spirit in Legend of korra) and Wan Shi Tong (he apparently don't ages).

Do you have an actual source to back that up? Because I've looked at both the Wikipedia page, and the Avatar wikia page for The Legend of Korra and never have I seen a single mention of an alternate series name.

Iroh in Avatar and Iroh in Legend of Korra. There's a difference.

And honestly I had no idea Wan Shi Tong appeared in LoK. I stopped watching somewhere in middle of the second season because I got tired of Korra PMSing on everyone all the time, but he's a pretty minor character anyways.

I already imagined you would say that. This name is specific for some regions worldwide (like in BlueDingo's note).

I meant his look at the end of book two , but there is still a slight difference anyway.
