Just to make absolutely sure it is for the act of getting_dressed. A wildcard search for dressing will confirm that this is necessary.

+1 for the former. It is really ambiguos.
-1 For the latter. "dressing" sounds perfectly fine to me, the simple fact of this particle be found inside other words don't appears to be a problem.
