Topic: Artist and character names the same

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

How should I tag an image when both the character and artist names are the same? e.g.:

artist:toki_(artist)
character:toki

or:

artist:toki
character:toki_(character)

Or any other suggestions?

Neither. artist:toki_(artist) & character:toki_(character) , but you don't need to use the prefixes (artist: & character: ) after the first time tagging them.

Suffixes aren't a once and done, if there are multiple things with the same name, (unless it is a vast majority against,) they all get individual suffixes. carrot and carrot_(artist) is an example of when the parenthesis is true.

Toki most definitely sounds like there could actually be several artists and characters named exactly the same.

Because of this, suffix everything and with characters at least in suffix write characters owners name, not just (character), so e.g. toki_(toki). Even better would be if some characters had full name, in those cases use that.
