Topic: [Feature] Possibility for editing a comment

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

Another regulation of the possibility, than a 5 minute timelimit, to edit a comment
Till no one has written after your Post, commented, responded or rated it, should give you the ability to edit it.

Gives the user more time to Edit a comment
It would end with less needing of hiding a comment.

I think it's fine as-is. Gives the mods a chance to deal with particularly troublesome posts before an OP has reason to edit it.

I thought more about, to have a chance to edit it, because of misspelling. (English is not my mother tounge). And as long as no other one used your post, or thought about it, no one will miss it. Wrong sentences, wrong assumptions, wrong language. Unconcerned posts you regret after 10 minutes, or many other things else.

It would be a lot of programming, setting the new rules to the Database, but it would be worth it.

What about an edit history that only Admins and the user who made the post can see?

They already have access to that sort of thing. Just saying the way it works now is less of a hassle.

I still think, there is a need, to change it. Every user would have more freedom to correct a mistake, or whatever.
And there woul'd be so much hidden comment's.

Programming the rules in the Database can be difficult.

But I really don't want to mess with the programmers and administrators. Because you already wrote, we have already access to that sort of thing...
