"Might not be safe"... it is the SAFE ONLY version of E621. Only images rated safe are on there.

It's official variation of the site where only safe posts can be seen.
By googling the sites name, you should land on stuff like wikifur explaining this as well as couple forum posts here:
forum #172564
forum #176038

What they meant with "safe" is that they most likely though of the site being phishing site.

I think it's really weird to use separate, equally obtuse domain names for toggling NSFW on and off...

I know, but you can't disagree that the wording is ironic. The site is also as safe as e621, it is just an alternative for images you want to see.

It is also used to deploy updates before they go on e621. It is also easier to explain its use in public rather than specifying safe searching should you so choose (or care).

Also if you're one of those people who lives with family, and they see the open tab labeled "unbirthing e621" and they ask what it is, you can just tell them it's an art site. And if they ask you to open it you can "Accidentally" close it, then just type in the "safe" version of the site (E926) and say "eyyy see there nothing explicit about this at all I'm totally not some pervert who wants to be shoved inside another person like a traumatic reverse child birth"

Yeeeaaaah bullshit, that doesn't work, especially if you're like me who had a mother who takes the computer to see what the hell you're looking at before you can even stop her. :/

And that's why you don't do it while she's around. It's one of the good things about living alone.

I feel like you had to do this once or twice.

I like that the site names are in relation to the E numbers of certain food additives.
For e621.net, E621 is the E number for Monosodium glutamate(MSG) which is basically a flavour enhancer that intensifies the meaty, savory flavor of food; while for e926.net, E926 is the E number for Chlorine dioxide which is used to disinfect water or bleach flour.

I've never gotten caught on this site before, I really don't understand people who get caught doing questionable things on their computers. Can you not hear people coming? Are you not facing your monitor away from hte door? Do you not take one earphone out to make sure you're listening while you're watching a horse dick get crammed through a persons entire body and out their mouth? If not you're kinda asking for it.
Also when I was really young, (note like young young, so I had nothing to actually hide it was just for fun) I used to use this thing:
http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41PK0SMRK4L.jpg
Its a spy toy sensor thing. It feeds back to a central control unit that goes off with lights and even an alarm if someone steps in front of its sensor. I actually still have it after like... 10+ years and it still works to this day.

Well looking up its Food ENumber provided some interesting info:
E926 : Chlorodioxide
Origin:
Obtained from chlorine and sodium chlorite.Function & Characteristics:
Bread enhancer. It stabilises the structure of leavened bread. Bleaching agent for flour.Products:
Bread but not often used.Acceptable daily intake (ADI) :
Up to 30 mg/kg bodyweightSide effects:
None known.Dietary restrictions:
None. 926 can be used by all religious groups, vegans and vegetarians.
It's that last bit in particular:
Dietary restrictions:
None. 926 can be used by all religious groups, vegans and vegetarians.
That grabs me the most, Meaning in short terms it's safe for everyone.
Like E621, MonoSodiumGlutemate, Which is the spice of life.

And goes well with spicy content. One bit I found interesting:

Bleaching is the act of making something whiter or cleaner. Makes sense since they only allow clean content while we get the dirty stuff as well.

Oh well that is lucky of you.

It's where we hide the poofs, peas, and yeens for safe keeping.

I never do it when she's around period, it's not like I notice her when she's outside my bedroom about to bust the door open, I'm in my own little world on my PC in my own room (Plus I got headphones on almost 24/7, so again, not like I notice).
Hell if I even had a lick of brains I probably would've used the safe version of this site, but I didn't even know e926 was a thing at the time.

When I have breaks in office, I try to draw. It's better that the IT-nerds see a safe Furry site at the weekly check-up than the stuff in my favourite section XD

Not really? I was careful. I chose certain times of days where people were typically busy doing other things. The later into hte night and closer to my bed-time the less sketchy stuff I did cause I knew my parents would come in some time soon-ish. If I wanted to do anything really sketchy I'd wait till I "went to bed" where I knew no one would come in and look for me for at least an hour.
You guys just need to be more careful.

I always just threw my blanket in the way of the door. I'd notice if it began to move and could just say "oh, sorry, must have threw it off the bed by accident."
Nowadays everybody just knows to knock. They may not know exactly what I browse, but they don't care.

True. And clear anything once you are done using it.

I have 2 sisters and one brother and I have never been caught. I don't even clean my browser history because noone cares about it. If someone steps into my room while I tag (I only tag using a computer, I download pics on my phone.) I just quickly open the youtube tab which I'm listening to.

Smart. Know if any of your siblings take after your interests?

I don't think so. My sister loves anime and my little brother could be callef a brony because he watches a lot of MLP, even tho he doesn't know that the fandom excists. (I hope I interpreted your question right.)

You did. So if your sister loves anime she has probably shipped those black butler pair.

You are just asking for trouble. Use a private browsing mode that clears history when you close the tab or window. No extra work except for 2 clicks.

If you go to comments there are no explicit pictures on display but the comments still give a good impression about that is going on.

I have been browsing e621 on my computer for 4 years first I used the incongito mode but than I realised that no one gives a fuck about my history so 3 years of e621 history can be found on my computer, but as I sad my parents don't care what I'm looking at the internet.
