Reason:

Already implicated to masturbation, but more specifically autofellatio is a form of penile_masturbation.

Need to change the penile_masturbation definition for that to be valid. It specifically says with the hands. I don't think it should say that, but it's also debatable whether oral self-stimulation should be included or not.

To @Johannes: you registered officially in this site little more than one week ago (10 days), however the way you work in forum and wikis is almost flawless; your usage of '+1' & '-1' rather than just "I agree/disagree"; your argumentation consistent with site's functionality; the way you added informations on your suggestions (not during the suggestion process, but after it); the organization of the wikis you made (explanation + related wikies), your perfect usage of various site mechanics like: links (to web addresses, wikis and searches), headers, italics, lists etc.

Yeah, I didn't particularly pay attention to that definition. I assumed it would be the same as vaginal_masturbation's "Self-stimulation of the pussy" without specifying anything about hands. I really think it should be changed to be the same to allow for masturbation using toys, oral and other methods of penile masturbation not involving the hands.

Thanks... I think this is a good thing? I may have only recently signed up to e621 but I'm no stranger to booru software, other sites such as danbooru and agn.ph run similar software and have similar communities to here. The formatting used here is almost the same as the BBCode integrated into most forums available these days so it didn't take too long to get accustomed to. I've also asked questions in the IRC chat on occasion to help me understand more.

And it is, in this case at least. When I noticed that pattern, I thought it might have three more plausible explanations:

I) You have extreme ease at understanding the refered mechanics.

II) You had an account previously, but lost it, through banishment (a) or some sort of accident (b).

III) Your explanation.

Yeah, agreed. I'd say the best route to go would be to just make it open and fairly vague like vaginal_masturbation. Actually the whole lot of masturbation tags could use a little bit of a review. That one also has an inconsistency, because it works, but its more-used counterpart fingering variations are specified unnecessarily as being penetrative. Probably worth a topic or a mini-project or something.

On one hand this makes sense, but in another it doesn't. We have tags or tag combinations that cover all kinds of vaginal masturbation:

• vaginal_masturbation + vaginal_fingering
• vaginal_masturbation + vaginal_fisting
• vaginal_masturbation + toying_sef
• vaginal_penetration + dildo_sitting
• autocunnilingus

However, the same can't be used for penile masturbation. If we use it as a tag for all kinds of auto stimulaion involving penis, then what will we use to the "conventional" penile masturbation?
penile_masturbation - autofellatio - urethral_penetration - penetrable_sextoy is simply too long to be an option.

Then we would have a new problem: what would we use when someone is doing it to self or to another? "handjobing_self" and "handjobing_partner"?

toying_self can also apply with penetrable_sex_toy or vibrator for penile_masturbation. Making clit rubbing not fall into the meaning of vaginal_fingering is weird with respect to real world meaning, but it would make sense if it at least wasn't in conflict with vaginal_masturbation. Same way as anal_fingering should still apply just rubbing circles around the rim or something.
