Topic: Regarding the use of "(artist)" alongside the artist tag

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

To put it in my own example.

Is "kappadoggo_(artist)" better than just "kappadoggo" as an artist tag?

I've just seen some of my art here that people uploaded (thanks for supporting) and I noticed the artist tag uses the "+(artist)" form, like many other people. I assume that using a tag without the "+(artist)" would be easier to search.

Is there a benefit when using the +(artist) tag rather than just the artist name?

Thanks in advance.

Any problems if I ask for a change in the tag replacement form this site has?

Thanks in advance.

Many artists share the same name as their fursona, in which case one would be kappadoggo (artist) and the other would be kappadoggo (character).

If the artist's moniker is at all different, then you don't do this. For instance, my artist tag is FibS while the actual character (who I haven't drawn yet anyway) is Fibriel Solaer.

I see. Interesting. Thanks for answering.
