It is a fruit, in the same way as pumpkin, tomato and eggplant are (all them currently implicated to fruit).

Bump. I feel that this is a valid implication, but not everyone knows that olives are fruit. Maybe a new tag for commonly mistaken fruit? Just a thought. +1
