I give a very shaky +1

the initial idea is solid but it seems swollen is a tag not used too commonly to begin with, nor are there many 'swollen_' prefix tags

I suppose if you're suggesting this alias then maybe we need to do some cleanup with the existing swollen tags, make a wiki page outlining its use, and make sure to tag for it in the future

+1. Isn't specific however we still can extract something from it.

I guess none of those tags is really necessary. We already have size tags for belly, breasts, teats, anus, lips, balls, penis etc. as well as tags like 'wounded', 'erection' and 'inflation', which would cover very well anything that may possibly appear under 'swollen*' tags.

I can see swollen being used for something like this. Sure, he is wounded but most wound types don't involve swelling. Bruised and black_eye are also applicable but aren't a perfect overall solution because many of those don't contain swelling either.

Any image that involves inflation shouldn't be tagged swollen, though. We already have inflation for that.

Thing is, people won't realize that and use the wrong tag. Having a more defined tag, such as swollen_(injury) would be better.

That is called ecchymosis, is a type of bruise that involves swelling.
If you ask me, I would say 'bruised' is enough, however if you really think a tag so specific is needed, then there it is.

Note: actually ecchymosis isn't guaranteed to cause visible swelling, you may try to use 'edema' if you want to, but it is way broader.

'bruised' and 'black_eye' aren't the "wrong tag", they actually fit well. As I said, ecchymosis is a type o bruise (actually not, but almost).

No, swollen is the wrong tag when it's wrong. Swollen can be used for so many things, and so many people would mistag.

Oh, I guess that misunderstood you. I thought you were talking about 'bruised' and 'black_eye'.
My apologies.
