Aliasing 3dmodel → 3d_(artwork)

Reason:
There are currently 35 images tagged with the 3dmodel tag. The way I see it, 3D models are part of 3D art. I don't think we need a separate tag for 3D models.

Before I submit any opinion, I have to ask: is there a way to make 3d_(artwork) without using models?

2D images rendered in 3D space (billboards and the like) aren't models except under a very broad definition, that being something like, say, either visible objects in 3D space or objects made out of vertices and faces. (Depending on implementation a 2D image may very well be just an image superimposed onto a flat 3D plane.)
A layman probably wouldn't even consider billboards and models to be anything alike.
