It is currently a bit too much a hassle to find the correct tags for what seems to be almost every Dota hero, save for Slark.
Keep in mind that in these examples I search for the names that 99% of people use and know these heroes by, not the full titles that e621 tags use (which includes the heroes' actual names and their hero names (ex: Raigor Stonehoof the Earthshaker)).
-Let's say I search for "slark": I get redirected to the tag slark_the_nightcrawler. Tag may be a bit unnecessarily long, but the search gets the job done and I get the posts I was looking for.
-If I search for "night_stalker" or "faceless_void": Nothing shows up. I don't even get a tag suggestion to balanar_the_night_stalker or darkterror_the_faceless_void. If I want to find any posts with Night Stalker or Void in them, I either have to look through the "dota" tag and find posts with those heroes in them, or I have to go look up the full name of the hero I'm looking for and then make sure I use the proper formatting when typing in the tag.
-If I search for "riki" or "eathshaker": Some posts with characters of the same name show up, but none with the actual character I'm looking for. Again, no tag suggestions to rikimaru_the_stealth_assassin or [[raigor_stonehoof_the_earthshaker]; and again, I'm gonna have to look through the "dota" tag or look up the full name blah blah blah.
Seems a bit convoluted, no?
I propose two solutions to fix this:
1. Each hero tag gets change to only use each corresponding hero's hero name (ex: raigor_stonehoof_the_earthshaker --> "eathshaker_(dota)").
2. Aliases are added to each hero tag (ex: I search for "eathshaker" and get all posts tagged with raigor_stonehoof_the_earthshaker).
Along with this, heroes who have names who are being used for other characters as well should get a tag suggestion like so: http://i.imgur.com/Jxh1zUf.png . Adding a tag implication of "dota" to each hero tag would also be nice (if it hasn't been done yet).
Not 100% sure which solution is better yet, but I'm more leaning towards the first one.
If you have any better solutions or additional ideas, feel free to share your thoughts.
