Requested feature:
Reveal spoilers on click

Why:
Mobile users can't hover a mouse pointer over spoilers.

Parts of site that are affected:
Anywhere the spoiler tag can be applied

It already does this on Firefox mobile.

i rather like the TV Tropes way of doing spoilers, which is to make them impossible to read until highlighted, or physically clicked-on.

Afaik not many people use Firefox . At least not on Apple devices.

If it works on Firefox it is probably the same on all of them.

Works on the default internet browser on my Android phone.

I actually would love this feature for mobile devices. It doesn't work for users browsing on Apple iOS, more specifically on Safari or Chrome.

Only way to view spoilers is to highlight the hidden text, copy and paste it on (for example) the search bar to view what it says.

Another annoying thing on mobile is that when you're trying to view source links on posts, it won't show the whole list until you open one of them (in new tab).

Can confirm Safari cannot view spolier text with current hover to view.

Works fine on Android, but not iOS.

+1 to make users of the inferior operating system happy.
