Seems to be tagged for other stuff too.
These aren't fruit:

I'd argue that those aren't even lemons.

Should be thoroughly checked before the implication.

Alright, cleaned up the tag. There were only a few mistags, and I'm sure not enough to prevent an implication.

i feel a great burden lifted off my shoulders, now knowing a lemon is a fruit.

but not all things tagged lemons were fruit. and to the point, is it possible that non-fruit things could be tagged "lemon" in the future?

+1. It seems valid; of course there are some possible issues, like people tagging it to lemon green things or forgeting the underscore while typing 'lemon_testicles', but both appear to be unlikely.

"Lemon Green"? You mean Lime Green? Lemons are yellow.

No, I really meant "lemon green".
Exists green lemon and yellow lime ; also exists purple corn , black rice , red potato , orange coconut , yellow carrots , white strawberry , pink banana , black wheat etc.
I recommend you to don't be so surprised when someone comments about a fruit, cereal or vegetable with "strange color", because it has a considerable probability of being true.

Carrots come in many colors: orange, yellow, white, red, purple. Quite a few vegetables have purple varieties.

True. Actually orange carrots are a crossing between red and yellow carrots; If I am not wrong, that was made as a tribute for the House of Orange (an important european family).

Bumping this one - seems super obvious, I checked all the posts and there doesn't seem to be any obvious mistagging over the past 6 years.
