Reason:

the wiki articles describe the exact same thing. the site does allow alias suggesting.

I think he's saying "I'm not violating any rules by suggesting this."

It's a good suggestion--I'm sure we'll eventually get around to implementing it :) it's just pretty busy around here...

I don't think suckling should imply nipple sucking. You can suckle things that aren't nipples.

Suckle is literally a synonym for breastfeeding. To feed from a breast/teat. Which is to say, there's intention to getting milk outta dem titties when suckling

Anyone who suckles on toes is using the word rather inappropriately. Well, this is furry art, so they might not be as totally wrong... I'm sure someone has drawn toe_nipples before...

The more important statement is: how do you determine a suckle from a suck? how is suckling different than a nipple_suck? can you really determine the difference in 99% of images?

What about penis_nursing pictures? Wouldn't that still fit under suckling?

penis_nursing doesn't involve sucking on a teat/breast/nipple.

That said, technically kinda yes?

Regardless, I would prefer seeing the suckling tag go away-- we have breastfeeding for nursing from a breast.

(and penis_nursing is fine, in my opinion--that's definitely a niche sort of activity that should be seek-out-able.)
