Reason:

Pointless tag. Vast majority of the content is fiction.
If this is meant specifically for stories, we already have the story_in_description tag for those. Not to mention comic, pools, etc.

Judging by the posts under this tag, seems that what people actually meant by 'fiction' was science fiction or historic fiction. I don't guess invalidating would be the better move, perhaps just disambiguate it instead.

What should happen with this then? The word alone is vague and useless, since just all art here is fiction, and if it's meant to be a specific type of setting (alternate history, science fiction, fantasy fiction), we have tags for that.

Aliasing to invalid tag is not an effective way to disambiguate a tag. If this request had been approved, it would not be possible to fix the posts.
